Volkswagen Transporter fans can relax in style at Beaulieu’s VW T Chill in the grounds of the National Motor Museum on August 9-11.
Returning by popular demand, the laid-back rally will gather all ages and versions of the VW Transporter at the New Forest venue. These will include everything from the iconic split windscreen and bay window Type 2, through the much-loved Type 25/Type 3 to the modern-day T4, T5 and T6.
Family friendly is the focus of the event, with a communal fire pit in the evening, pub quiz and a VW cruise out to Buckler’s Hard village. Singer songwriter Izzii Moulsdale will provide entertainment in the form of live music. There are also prizes for best fancy dress, with the theme being Vanimation; dress up a your favourite animated or cartoon character to be in with a chance of winning.
Beaulieu attraction visitors can view the show and shine vehicles in the Events Area on Sunday August 11. Participant tickets, for those taking part in a VW Transporter, are £16 per adult and £8 per child, with camping tickets at £32 per pitch. Tickets include entry to all of the attractions at Beaulieu.
