After more than 10 years at Santa Pod Raceway in, the popular Mini In The Park event (MITP), will be moving to a new venue for the Mini’s 60th anniversary year – Mallory Park race circuit.

Tickers are now on sale for the event, which will take place at the Leicestershire venue on August 18 2019, the weekend after the International Mini Meeting and Mini 60 bash in Bristol. Surrounded by rolling hills and with the infamous lakes situated in the infield, Mallory is beautiful venue and has a rich motorsport heritage to boot. It first opened as a race track in 1956, and quickly gained a reputation as a demanding circuit thanks to its fast but twisty 1.35-mile layout. The circuit has played host to all manner of races in its 62 years, from Formula One to the British Superbike Championship, as well as the British Saloon Car Championship. It’s always been a firm favourite with race fans, thanks in no small part to its amazing spectator viewpoints.

Details are still being finalised, but as MITP is going to be based at a race circuit, you can count on track time and demonstration laps running throughout the event, plus a host of new features and exhibits. And of course, the all-important club displays and retail village will still be a big part of the show. For more details and to buy tickets, check out the website at www.minishow.co.uk.
