The Classic Ford Show is set to return for 2022, this year taking place at an all-new venue complete with displays, retail stands, competitions, live action and much more.
Set in the grounds of the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex, the Classic Ford Show will welcome a dizzying array of classic models from across the Blue Oval’s back catalogue when it takes place on Sunday, July 10. For more information and to book tickets, click here.
In the run-up to the show, we’re on a mission to see where Ford enthusiasts’ tastes are in 2022. Ford really hit its stride in the 1980s, producing some of its most widely loved and iconic models, so our hunt begins here.
In the 80s, the Capri and Sierra reached new performance-focused heights, fast Escorts saw a switch to turbocharging and front-wheel drive, and the firm’s rallying efforts were spearheaded by the infamous RS200. These instant icons were joined by some less obvious highlights – many of which command their own cult followings today.
