Classic Car Auctions (CCA) is gearing up for an eclectic sale at the Classic and Performance Car Spectacular at Tatton Park this weekend
CCA’s next sale will take centre stage at the Tatton Park Classic and Performance Car Spectacular show this weekend on Saturday, June 1 at 11am with a catalogue filled with 168 projects, modern classics and turn-key collector’s cars.
Modern classic fans are well catered for as usual, with some interesting 90s and early-2000s examples up for grabs. A 2007 Vauxhall Monaro with over 600bhp from its Chevrolet V8 stands out with a guide price of £16,000–20,000, as does a blue-on-blue 2000 Ferrari 456M in need of some TLC seeking a brave new owner with a reasonable guide of £30,000–35,000.
The Subaru Impreza has become a collector’s piece in recent years and is well represented in the sale. A 1998 Impreza Turbo Terzo is estimated at £10,000–12,000, while an earlier pre-facelift 1994 Impreza Turbo WRX with just 9,860 miles on the clock is expected to make £18,000–22,000. A Japanese-import 1995 WRX STi is a rarity on these shores and up for £10,000–12,000, while a more modern yet still rare 2008 Impreza GB270 is estimated at £8000–10,000.
Naturally, there are many older classics up for grabs too. A 1973 Citroën DS20 Pallas looks great for £22,000–26,000, as does a 1948 Ford Pilot described as one of the best examples around guided at £12,000–15,000. A stunning 1987 BMW M635i CSi had the Classics World team all aflutter; resplendent in white and with just 64,500 miles, it’s guided at £35,000–40,000.
Fast Fords feature too, with a 1984 Tickford Turbo Capri standing out with a guide of £38,000–42,000, alongside a 1989 Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth with 60k on the clock estimated at £25,000–30,000. A 1974 Ford Escort RS2000 fresh from an originality-focused restoration is one for the purists, guided at £40,000–45,000.
Those on the hunt for a project have plenty to choose from, including a 1967 Mercedes 250SL for £20,000–25,000, a 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1½ at £12,000–15,000. A number of Land Rovers and Range Rovers are offered from a single source – the Drayton Collection – with many projects guided in the £4000–6000 range and with no reserve.
