The London Classic Car Show 2021 will be on the move again for spring, with uncertainties surrounding the immediate future of large indoor gatherings prompting a move from Olympia to the more viable outdoor setting of Syon Park in West London. And in search of more favourable weather, the event will move from its regular February slot to the weekend of April 16-18.
The new Covid-compliant venue is located on the banks of the River Thames, opposite Kew Gardens. Its open green spaces are set to provide a backdrop for more than 500 classic cars and accompanying attractions. The major display areas will be under temporary covers with open sides to ensure social distancing as well as a healthy flow of spring air.
“With so many indoor events still being cancelled or postponed, we are thrilled to have found such a fabulous new home – plus a more welcoming date – for The London Classic Car Show,” enthused Show Director Mark Woolley.
Mark also confirmed that ‘The Evolution of Design’ will be the event’s headline theme. “We will be celebrating 135 years of remarkable automotive progress ranging from the pioneering horseless carriages which date all the way back to the dawn of motoring in Victorian times right up to the latest supercars,” he added.
Tickets for show are now on sale, with prices held at the 2020 rate of £25 in advance (£30 on the day) with a limited number of premium upgrades also on offer.
