What’s on

The VolksWorld Show team are revamping the entire format of the show to really embrace the roots of the air-cooled scene. The biggest change, of course, is the move to the purpose-built South of England Showground in Ardingly, Sussex.

The new venue features multiple display halls, along with far more outside space. This means we can present the VolksWorld concours collection inside the Queen’s Jubilee Hall, with further display vehicles located in the all weather Robins Building, too.

Here’s a look at what you can expect to see at VolksWorld Show 2025!

Club Displays

At the heart of the event are the car clubs celebrating the rich community that keeps the air-cooled VW scene alive. If you’re a fan of grass-roots air-cooled VWs, head to the VolksWorld Show to connect with like-minded enthusiasts and experience the camaraderie and dedication that make the community special. Display your vehicle at the show via the button below.

Special Display

Not part of a club but would still love to display your car? Well panic not! We offer drivers who aren’t part of a club the opportunity to display their car within the Special Display area at the event which will be located within the show for just £10! As long as you’ve got an air-cooled VW, you will be guaranteed a spot within the Special Display area.

The Vintage Guys

If you’re a fan of vintage VWs, listen up! We’re pleased to announce that The Vintage Guys Volkswagen Club will be attending the 2025 VolksWorld Show with a fleet of no less than a dozen early air-cooled Beetles. This is a rare opportunity to see multiple Split-and Oval-window Bugs in one place, especially in stock specification (no lowered suspension or modified engines here!). Club spokesman Martin Jewell told us, “The fact that we’ll be displaying inside the Robin’s Building is particularly fitting, as the club was formed after the funeral of my close friend and lifelong vintage VW enthusiast, Robin Allen. Displaying inside the Robin’s Building is a lovely tribute to him, so be sure to pop along and check out some truly old-school VWs on 23rd March.”

75 Years of Type 2 Production Display

In 1947, a Dutch importer, Ben Pon, sketched out a rough design for a van based on the Beetle’s chassis. This design would lay the foundation for what would become the Type 2. The first prototype, dubbed the VW Transporter, was developed in 1949, and in 1950, the vehicle was introduced to the market as the Volkswagen Type 2.

Therefore, to commemorate 75 years of Transporter manufacturing, the VolksWorld Show will be celebrating this anniversary with the help of clubs (including the Split Screen Van Club (SSVC) and The Wolfsburg Bus Crew) by presenting a collection of air-cooled Type 2 Campers and Buses at this year’s event.

Beach Buggy Bonanza!

The VolksWorld Show 2025 will feature an exclusive display of world-class Beach Buggies, showcasing vehicles that redefine automotive craftsmanship. Visitors will marvel at the insane level of detailing, incredible paintwork, and innovative modifications that set these Buggies apart from the average beach-swelling VW kit car! With their vibrant paintwork and meticulously detailed engines and interiors, these one-of-a-kind cars are a true testament to the creativity and passion within the Volkswagen community.

Retail Village

The 2025 show promises to be an exciting event for air-cooled VW enthusiasts, featuring top traders and businesses in the industry. Renowned suppliers such as Heritage Parts Centre and Just Kampers will showcase their extensive range of classic VW parts, accessories, and services. From rare engine components to restoration essentials, attendees can explore trade stands offering everything needed to keep their beloved air-cooled VWs running smoothly. This year’s event highlights the vibrant VW community, offering enthusiasts a chance to connect with leading brands, discover exclusive deals, and celebrate the iconic VW legacy.

The Concours Collection

VolksWorld will once again feature an exceptional collection of world-class show cars. Renowned for its rich history of high-calibre vehicles, the show brings together a stunning array of meticulously detailed and beautifully presented VWs. From 100-point perfect restorations to cutting-edge custom builds, each vehicle represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship and automotive passion. VW enthusiasts will not want to miss the chance to see these extraordinary, air-cooled VWs up close at the show, taking place on 23 March.

Air-Cooled VW Swapmeet

The Robins Hall Swapmeet at the VolksWorld Show 2025 is the go-to spot for rare second-hand parts and accessories for classic VW Beetles and Campers. Enthusiasts can discover elusive items for their beloved vehicles, making it a must-visit for collectors and restorers alike!

VWt Magazine Paddock

Join us for a display of some of the best VW Transporters in the country. Yes, that’s right – as well as attracting awesome air-cooled VWs – water-cooled vans will be represented at this year’s VolksWorld Show too, courtesy of the UK’s only modern van magazine, VWt.

Back To ’89

We’re proud to announce that the man behind the B289 club, Stu Betty, will be back for 2025, presenting a collection of ex-show stars and classic VolksWorld feature cars from back in the day in the Robin’s Hall at this year’s event.  Join us on a trip back to 1989, which will surely evoke some great memories as you’ll be stopped in your tracks by some of the most influential showstoppers from yesteryear.
