The Show continues to grow in popularity, with over 1000 cars and 400 visitors attended last year’s event and more are expected this year, the 22nd time the WBCVC has held its show. Last year the Show raised a record £12,000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
Newbury College is an appropriate host for the WBCVC’s Show as it boasts excellent workshop facilities and offers a range of courses aimed at both those looking to work in the motor industry and enthusiasts simply wanting to expand their skills to work on their own cars.
The West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Club’s chairman, Mike Kent, said “We are really excited about the new venue. Ongoing building development at Newbury Racecourse, which was home to the event for many years, necessitated a fresh look and we are delighted to be working with Newbury College. It’s a great facility which I am sure everyone will enjoy.”
