We’re giving away 10 pairs of tickets to this year’s Mini in the Park show at Sywell Aerodrome on August 21
Mini in the Park, the fan-favourite show for all Mini enthusiasts, has a new home for 2022: Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire, a privately owned airfield that also plays host to a variety of events including the Sywell Classic. Whether you’re part of a club or have your own Mini to show off, Mini in the Park looks set to offer something for everyone. The exciting new venue also features on-site festival camping for those who want to make a weekend of things.
Visitors can expect to find all of the usual highlights that Mini in the Park has become known for, including more than 40 club stands and a huge range of specialist trade stands. Those bringing their own Mini can book their car into Pole Position parking for £20 (in addition to admission) to have their pride and joy on display.
Concours Corner will show off the UK’s finest and best-preserved examples, with Mini models of all ages competing for trophies across a range of classes. Meanwhile, Mini in the Park’s Run What Ya Brung competition will be held on the aerodrome’s runways and taxiways; for just £10 drivers can take part in the 0-60mph sprint competition and 1km straight-line challange.
Finally, a pre-show party will take place on the Saturday before the show, with live music from Britpop Reunion in Hangar 1, a repurposed WW2-era hangar. Those wishing to attend can arrive from 2pm onwards and camp overnight for £15 per person (in addition to a valid day ticket). Adult advance tickets are priced at £20, or £10 for children (ages 5 to 15). Under 5s are admitted for free. Click here to buy your tickets!
