After the overwhelming success of William Medcalf Vintage Bentley’s inaugural ‘Drive Out’ event, the West Sussex workshop and showroom is once again opening its doors to the historic motoring community on Saturday 8 April.

William Medcalf, who specialises in restoration and rally preparation of Bentleys from 1922 to 1932, held his first “Drive Out” event at the start of the year to something of a fanfare.

Enthusiasts gathered from around the country for exclusive access to one of the world’s largest assemblies of vintage Bentleys; and with refreshments and conversation flowing in equal measure, it was a day to remember.

William Medcalf is again laying on something extra special for his guests in April. The ‘Drive-Out’ will make its way over to the Goodwood Motor Circuit, where drivers will have a chance to get up close and personal with an iconic World War II Spitfire and enjoy a talk from a current Spitfire pilot.

It’s been almost a century since W.O. Bentley fired up his first motorcar, but interest in and love for the brand hasn’t dwindled and William Medcalf’s “Drive Out” events are a chance for you to go back and sample the very best of British motoring.

Complimentary refreshments will be served from 9:00am, with the option to purchase brunch from the RAC Club’s Pit Stop catering unit individually prepared by Howard Bisset, Head Chef at RAC Woodcote Park.

The West Sussex showroom is home to some of the rarest and most valuable Bentleys ever made, while adding a British aviation icon into the mix only adds to the appeal of the day.

William Medcalf said: “The first ever drive out from William Medcalf Vintage Bentley was a huge success and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming enthusiasts to the workshop and showroom on 8 April. We are home to some of the rarest and most beautiful Bentleys ever made; combining that with a spirited drive to the iconic Goodwood to enjoy a British aviation masterpiece makes for a truly excellent day.”
