VolksWorld Show is set to return for 2025 at its new home at the South of England Showground, West Sussex. Here’s all you need to know
Created by the team behind the world’s best Volkswagen magazine, VolksWorld Show is set to bring together some of the very best air-cooled VWs when it takes place on 23 March, 2025. Previously held at Sandown Park, the show has moved to the South of England Showground in West Sussex, a venue offering lots of space and a combination of indoor and oudoor display areas.
The new venue has allowed organisers more flexibility, with favourites like the VolksWorld Concours Collection now set to be presented under cover in the Queen’s Jubilee Hall, and further display cars protected under the roof of the Robins Building.
Fans of aircooled Volkswagens are in for a treat, with Beetles, Karmann Ghias, T1/T2 campers and buses, plus all other air-cooled Volkswagens set to be in attendance, spread across an array of club displays, a special display area for those not club-affiliated, plus a number of specially curated areas. The 75th anniversary of Type 2 Transporter production will be celebrated in style with a special display, while a world-class display of Beach Buggies will also make an appearance. The Back to ’89 display will bring together a collection of ex-show stars and VolksWorld feature cars, while the aforementioned Concours Collection will form a focal point for those who appreciate immaculately presented examples of the marque.
Those on the hunt for a spare part of specific tool will be catered for by the show’s Retail Village and famous Air-Cooled VW Swapmeet, with the latter set to be held in the Robins Hall to beat any sudden downpours.
Elsewhere, the VWt Magazine Paddock will bring together some of the best Transporters in the country, both air- and water-cooled, curated by the team behind the UK’s only modern VW van magazine.
And if you fancy making a weekend of your visit to the show, the good news is that on-site camping is available from 1pm the day before on Saturday, 22 March, complete with evening entertainment, a Kids Zone and a number of food trucks.
