Early Beetles to star at VolksWorld Show as The Vintage Guys join the event’s vast club lineup at the South of England Showground on March 23
Fans of classic Volkswagens are in for a treat at this weekend’s VolksWorld Show at the South of England Showground in West Sussex, a new venue for the show set to offer lots of space for clubs to show off their cars.
The latest club to confirm attendance is the Vintage Guys Volkswagen Club, with its display planned to feature a fleet of no fewer than a dozen early air-cooled Beetles. This is a rare opportunity to see multiple Split- and Oval-window Bugs in one place, especially in stock specification (no lowered suspension or modified engines here!).
Club spokesman Martin Jewell told us, ‘The fact that we’ll be displaying inside the Robin’s Building is particularly fitting, as the club was formed after the funeral of my close friend and lifelong vintage VW enthusiast, Robin Allen. Displaying inside the Robin’s Building is a lovely tribute to him – so be sure to pop along and check out some truly old-school VWs on 23rd March.’
Clubs at Volksworld Show 2025
As you enter the 2025 VolksWorld Show, you’ll be welcomed by the Wolfsburg Bus Crew, the Split Screen Van Club and Early Bay, who, along with a number of other clubs, will be flanking both sides of the main thoroughfare with Buses to get you in the mood for joining us in celebrating 75 years of Type 2 production.
The celebrations don’t stop there, though, as the Wolfsburg Bus Crew are also marking 10 years of club displays with more Buses lined up this year than ever before. Don’t miss out on what are sure to be some truly memorable club displays.
