Insurance specialist Footman James has announced a new classic vehicle meet for 2019 called Coffee and Chrome. The meets will be taking place throughout 2019 on selected Sunday mornings, with the first taking place at Chateau Impney in Droitwich – a venue steeped in motoring history and the home of Chateau Impney Hill Climb.
The aim is to bring together enthusiasts and their classic cars and bikes from all marques and eras over a hot drink and free bacon butty. There will also be a number of specialist classic traders in attendance for visitors to browse.
These events should build upon the success of Footman James’s sold out Drive-It Day in April, hosted at the Chateau, which saw over 30 classic vehicles such as Jaguar E-Types, Porsche Boxsters, Triumph Spitfires, MGAs, Cobras, Nortons and Harley Davidsons travel in convoy through the beautiful Cotswold countryside. A similarly eclectic mix of vehicles expected at Coffee and Chrome.
The first meet will take place taking place on Sunday January 6 between 10am and 1pm. The meet is free to attend, but space is limited to 200 vehicles, so participants are asked to register online on the Footman James website (footmanjames.co.uk/classichub) to confirm their place. Further dates for Coffee and Chrome will be announced in the New Year.
