With all of the car shows we love being cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19, Lancaster Insurance is hosting a virtual show this bank holiday weekend as it celebrates the 1970s!
We may not be able to meet in fields, pubs, or halls, but we can still share our love for classics with fellow enthusiasts. This weekend, we’ll be heading back to the 70s as Lancaster Insurance hosts its very own virtual show in its Facebook group, ‘Classic Car Enthusiasts Forum – Powered by Lancaster Insurance’.
The team will be reminiscing about the fantastic cars, adverts and music from the era as well as sharing inspiring restoration stories and hosting Q&As with some special guests on Sunday.
Fancy winning a year’s free insurance? On Saturday evening there will be a live quiz hosted by Lancaster Insurance’s classic car guru, Andrew Roberts. The winner of the quiz will receive a year’s free insurance. Details of how to enter are below, and Lancaster is asking for entrants to make a voluntary donation to Sporting Bears’ supported charity, Dogs for Good; the Just Giving page can be found here.
- To take part simply head to https://kahoot.it/ just before 7pm on Saturday May 23.
- Andrew Roberts will be live streaming in the Facebook Group and will share an ID number for you to enter on the webpage.
