Our top-of-the-range 1999 Rover 623GSI is for sale!

A very late example on a V-plate, this 1999 car has less than 84,000 miles on the clock and drives superbly. The 2.3-litre Honda engine and automatic gearbox are faultless with no leaks or running issues and on a run, this car returned 39.5mpg!

The Charleston Green paint is an unusual but tasteful colour – the bodywork has occasional car park dents and a few small rust blemishes (see pictures), but is in useable, presentable condition. The grey leather interior is in immaculate condition, with no rips, tears or cigarette burns. Everything electrical works from the air conditioning, to the electric windows, mirrors, sunroof and driver’s seat (even top-spec 600s didn’t have electric passenger seats!). The cruise control appears inoperative, but the car is extremely easy to hold at speed with your foot.

This car has been part of the Classics World fleet and in our ownership has had:

  • Replacement side repeater
  • Replacement nearside tail light
  • Replacement mirrors
  • Repainted wiper arms
  • Various bulbs replaced

Overall this is a good condition, very late example of this increasingly rare modern classic that is mechanically flawless and cosmetically tidy but useable. Viewing is available any time and the car includes extensive history paperwork, two keys with remote fobs and the Haynes manual.

We’re looking to get back our initial purchase price of £1500 for this car, but we’re open to offers and may be interested in a part exchange for something of interest.
