Sevenoaks and District Motor Club will once again stage its popular Crystal Palace Sprint over the Bank Holiday weekend of May 24-25, 2020.

The two-day, non-championship Crystal Palace Sprint event will be run along the same lines as previous years, where classes are decided by year of manufacture rather than engine size. This attracts a varied entry of historic, classic and modern competition machinery, as well as road-going vehicles.

The club has run the sprint weekend since 2017, taking a short break in 2018. Its return in 2019 proved to be a huge success, attracting 192 car entries over the two days, split into a 24-car class structure. The 2020 event will feature more of the same and will once again include classic motorcycles performing demonstration runs to evoke a bygone era of bikes racing at the circuit. There will also be trade stands, an autojumble, a car show and various attractions aimed at the young.

Sevenoaks and District Motor Club Event Co-ordinator Karen Webber said: “We have already started the planning way ahead of schedule and we have had a very good response. Although it was a success this year, we know we can make this event even bigger and better in 2020.”
