The popular Classic Van & Pick Up Show returns for a fifth year on Sunday August 5 at the British Motor Museum. Run by the Transit Van Club, the show features an impressive range of light commercial vehicles including pickups, camper vans, taxis and police cars. The show also incorporates the Transit Van Club’s 13th annual Rally on August 4-5.
All classic light commercial vehicles (including custom street vans) are welcome. The Rally will also feature a seminar about the Ford Transit on the Saturday, plus each club attending will have vehicles on display, plus traders will have parts available to browse and buy.
Tom Caren, Show Manager for the British Motor Museum, said: ‘The Classic Van and Pick Up Show is one of my favourite shows, having owned several classic vans over the years. Visiting both the Show and Rally are a great way to meet like-minded people who love these commercial vehicles. Do come along in your own vehicle, regardless of its make or condition, and celebrate with fellow classic van owners over the entire weekend!’
Owners of light commercial vehicles can enter for free by simply downloading the booking form on the website. Tickets for the Show & Rally cost £14 for adults, £12 concessions, £9 for children and £39 for a family. Discounted tickets are available in advance online. Camping is just £10 per person for one or two occupants when booked in advance, or £15 per person on the day. For three or more people the price is £25 per pitch when booked in advance or £35 per pitch on the day.
