Citroën specialist Chevronics isn’t normally open on Sundays – but for CX enthusiasts, the firm made an exception recently.
42 attendees brought 21 cars to Chevronics’ CX technical day at its base in Hitchin, Hertfordshire ; with model guru Stan Platt in residence, the day began with a rust trap spotting session before progressing on to a troubleshooting job question and answer session.
By lunchtime visitors were welcomed into the workshop, and two CXs (the first a Safari, the second a Series 2 GTI Turbo) were driven on and off the ramps for guests to inspect.
The car park was packed with CXs, the most notable of which was a low mileage ex French Presidential car.
“Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the day,” said Rob Moss, Chevronics director.
