Thousands of enthusiasts were in attendance for the 2026 running of one of the UK’s biggest classic car shows: the Bromley Pageant of Motoring
The Bromley Pageant of Motoring enjoyed a hugely successful return on Sunday 19th July, as thousands of enthusiasts headed to the South of England Showground in Ardingly for one of the UK’s biggest and most diverse classic vehicle gatherings. The event featured more than 2,000 display vehicles alongside car clubs, classic commercials, tractors, stationary engines, trade stands and autojumble.
Blessed with warm sunshine throughout the day, the event showcased an extraordinary cross-section of motoring history. Visitors could wander from pre-war classics and post-war family favourites to modern classics and performance icons, with dozens of enthusiast clubs proudly displaying their vehicles.
A particular highlight was the popular One Make Parking area, which once again demonstrated the breadth of Britain’s classic car scene. Owners arrived in everything from Aston Martins and Jaguars to humble Ladas and everyday heroes that once filled British roads, creating a rolling celebration of automotive culture. The Pageant’s relaxed atmosphere encouraged owners and visitors alike to share stories, technical knowledge and memories inspired by the vehicles on display.
Beyond the cars, the show offered plenty to explore, with classic commercial vehicles, tractors and stationary engines adding further variety to a packed showground. Trade stands, specialist retailers and autojumble stalls ensured enthusiasts could leave with anything from rare parts and memorabilia to restoration advice.

With excellent weather, a remarkable variety of machinery and a friendly community spirit throughout, the 2026 Bromley Pageant delivered exactly what enthusiasts had come for: a memorable day celebrating all things motoring.
