Peugeot 504 Coupe and Cabriolet
By the time this German-market publication promoting the Peugeot 504 Coupe and Cabriolet was published for the 1975 model year, this handsome looking twosome boasted the same 2664cc six-cylinder engine (a collaborative effort between Volvo, Renault and Peugeot) that would go on to power various Swedish- and French-built executive offerings of the 1970s and ’80s.
According to the brochure, the 504 Coupe offered a “synthese aus eleganz, komfort und leistung”, which loosely translates as a “synthesis of elegance, comfort and performance”.
It went on to boast that “technickern und stylisten ist mit diesem Peugeot-modell ein automobil gelungen”, which effectively paid tribute to the designers and stylists who’d created such an attractive flagship for Peugeot. And rightly so.
