Whereas other car clubs just have a national day, or weekend at a fixed venue, the Triumph 2000 Register makes a week of it and chooses a different location each year.

The setting this year is in Bamburgh, Northumberland, with the event organised by the local North East group from June 21-July 1. Local daily tours will also be organised, while June 29 will be the main show day, with concours judging, an autojumble and evening entertainment provided.

This year also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mk2 model, so the register is aiming to get 50 of these cars together to mark the occasion.

Day passes as well as the usual camping and static caravans are available for the event, and Non-members are also welcome. Email nationals@triumph2000register.co.uk for more details.
