Beaulieu has whetted the appetite of Audi and Ford fans by announcing details of its forthcoming Simply rallies at the National Motor Museum in the New Forest.

Hot on the heels of the season-opening Simply Aston Martin event on Sunday April 7 will be Simply Audi, which returns for a second year on Sunday April 21. The event will see a comprehensive showing of the popular German marque, featuring cars from the early Auto Union days to the modern era. Inclusion is open to anyone with an Audi, regardless of age or model. As well as the main show, there will be the displays in the museum which include a 1983 Audi Quattro A2 rally car with significant rallying prominence.

On Sunday May 5, the focus will switch to the blue oval. Celebrating the 50th and 60th anniversaries of Capri and Anglia respectively, there will be doubtless be a strong showing of these iconic models. The Surrey Capri Club, for example, is displaying a special collection of its members’ cars to mark the occasion. This is set to be the biggest of the 10 Simply rallies held this year, with numbers bound to exceed last year’s 3000 enthusiasts and 1800 Fords.
