Runcorn auction house Manor Park Classics has appointed TV presenter Paul Cowland (right) as a director of the business The star of Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars has already been a fixture and public face of Manor Park for the last two years, presenting sale previews across the firm’s coal media channels.

“Working with Manor Park’s team over the last couple of years has been a real privilege,” said Paul. “So being invited to join MPC on a more formal basis really is the icing on the cake. The company is now celebrating three years since its first sale, and during that time it’s become recognised as an important player in the classic car and bike business, thanks to exceptional customer service, a genuine love of classics among the team, and sound business management.”

Stephen Ashworth (FRICS), Manor Park Classics’ chairman and CEO (left in main image), was delighted to welcome Paul into the business.

“MPC has enjoyed huge success over the last few years, and Paul has been a great ambassador for us during that time,” Ashworth stated. “We have some exciting plans for the coming year, and I’m happy that Paul can help make them a reality now he’s part of the MPC family.”

Manor Park’s last sale on April 13 saw two auction records broken, as well as sales in excess of 80 per cent – now a regular occurrence for the Cheshire outfit. Its next sale takes place on May 25.
