More Details... The Lotus Elan S4 is a two-seater sports car produced by the British automaker Lotus Cars from 1968 to 1973. It was the penultimate iteration of the original Elan model, which was first introduced in 1962.The Elan S4 featured a fiberglass body mounted on a steel backbone chassis. It was powered by a 1,558cc DOHC four-cylinder engine that produced 118 horsepower and was paired with a four-speed manual transmission.One of the most notable features of the Elan S4 was its handling, which was considered to be among the best of any sports car of the era.
