1962 Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Manual/Overdrive
Price: £24,950
Description
Exported to California when new and used as an undercover police car, returned to the UK, restored and converted to RHD, only 2 owners in UK. Desirable 3.8 litre engine, 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive, starts easily and runs well with good braking from discs all round. Exceptionally sound underneath, benefitting from as dry climate, bodywork is very good also as is red paintwork, bar a few age related blemishes, chromework, including wide bumpers, is excellent. Interior wood is very good, as are the carpets and black Ambla seats. The car benefits from a Webasto roof, wire wheels and coombs spats. Recent light re-commissioning has included new fuel pump, repairs to the manifold and new exhaust flexi-pipes, fitting of manual choke, and overhauling rear brakes (front ones appear to have been done quite recently). Clearly a much loved family car, judging by the badges that comes with the car, has attended many shows, comes with handbook, workshop manual and a few spares. One to cherish.
