This magnificent lorry started her life in 1957 with the auxiliary fire service as a hose laying tender working with the Green Goddesses.
Decommissioned in 1988, in 1990 she was bought by an owner in Cornwall recommissioned and converted into a flatbed with 4ft removed from the rear bed.
Painted yellow she carried circus equipment around the county for a decade.
In 2007 she was restored to again, painted green and with a living pod on the back was used as accommodation at fairs and shows.
Engine is a Rootes Group Overhead Valve Straight Six of 4752cc. Pulls like a train in all gears.
4 speed gearbox with 2 speed transfer box.
Selectable rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.
Currently on period correct (possibly original) 11.00 20” bar grip tyres.
There are a set of modern Michelin 335/80 R20 ZXL which can go with the truck.
Some spares including wiring loom.
MOT and tax exempt.
For private use can be driven on a normal car license.
