The date of manufacture of this early Wi-Door saloon was late 1928 and first registration in February 1929. Purchased in 1978 and carefully restored to the original factory spec. over the next 12 years. The Vynal is black. The interior is fawn Bedford Cord, which back then was £27.50 per metre! The windows have the correct sliding sideways and the up / down movement. Body is A7 - 7517. Engine No is 78263 stripped and rebuilt. Chassis No. is 75798. The petrol gauge is a calibrated wood dipper. The engine is one of the first Coil ignition. Original crash 3 speed gearbox. The starter is the original bacon Slicer type.
