Brightwells is rounding off the year with its Classics Cars & Motorcycles sale – open now for bidding – and The Online Garage sale on December 11

Brightwells is gearing up to hold its final classic car sales of the year, with the first set to end tomorrow, Wednesday, December 6 at 2:01pm. Registration and bidding is open now – simply visit the Brightwells website and register here to get started.

The Online Garage sale sees its focus set on more lower-priced modern classics, with plenty for enthusiasts to get excited about: registration and bidding opens on Wednesday, December 6 at 10am, with viewing available until December 8, 9am–5pm with no appointment required.

Bidding is already underway for the Classic Cars sale ending tomorrow, December 6 – the picture gallery below includes our highlights to check out while there’s still time to bid.

The later Online Garage sale, meanwhile, is sure to be worth a look – highlights include a Mercedes 240D LWB presented with no reserve, an E34 BMW 520i with turbo kit and Alpina parts, plus a desirable Jeep Cherokee 60th Anniversary presented in great condition and with no reserve.

  • Built by model specialist The Z Farm for historic rallying, this 1970 Datsun 240Z is a tried and tested classic competition car with an exceedingly tasteful set of upgrades that don’t appear to have ruined the charm of the original car. Estimated at £25,000–30,000, interest is strong at time of writing.
  • With a remarkable 50,000 miles from new and just two previous owners, this 1961 Messerschmitt KR200 is a local celebrity in Hereford where it spent over 40 years on sale in a dealership. It’s estimated to fetch £16,000–18,000.
  • A rare 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible with manual gearbox and gorgeous yellow paint, this American classic is sure to turn heads. Current interest seems strong; £55,000–60,000 is the estimate.
  • A real affordable star of the sale, this 1960 Sunbeam Rapier MkIII is perfectly outfitted for historic rallying with a Holbay head conversion, a half cage and a proven history of success. Potentially a real steal at its £4,000–6,000 estimate.
  • A fantastic slice of 1980s excess, this Maserati Biturbo Spyder comes complete with lots of history and a desirable manual gearbox. With just 70,000 miles recorded it’s a lot of car for around £11,500–12,500.
  • The subject of a £15,000 restoration, this 1976 MGB GT V8 is presented in outstanding condition and without modification. Heritage certified and a genuine factory car with Webasto roof, it’s a great opportunity at £16,000–17,000, with strong interest at time of writing.
